"Boiling point"

I know I have been posting a on the subject and it ain't worth dwelling on the negative but I think there are some underlying / fundemental problems:

7000 times the acceptable levels of bacteria in our drinking water, human waste being dumped openly in our rivers, surage openly drained into our rivers ... the result of poor maintenance and mismanagement of our live blood / drinking water... It seems our government has not only left us in darkness but it is now also poisoning us!

Submerged in Darkness

Watched investigative programme "Carte Blanche"  in regards to our ongoing energy crisis here are some of the facts:

Capacity: 40,000MW
Average daily production: 37,000MW
Current production: in the region of 27,000MW
Johannes burg daily cuts: 210MW
Reality: Closed down our entire gold mining industry on Friday
So why not produce more? reason given Wet coal
Fact: Wet coal burns better than dry coal
Reality: Stockpiles have been depleted and replenishment sseverely lack
Reality no coal no energy production
Reason: took away the transportation of coal from white contractors and gave it to a black contractors
So what happened: Inexperienced interior deisgner knows nothing about business or transportation and now bankrupt
Reality: no trucks no coal
Yet? Eskom excutives paid themselves R57m in bonusses
CEO got R13m
Reality: These bonuses part our riding the gravy train (free for all) and not performance based
CEO a liar?: said on Monday we dont export any power to neighbouring countries
Reality: 350MW daily supplied to Botswana, 476 to Namibia, 216 to Swaziland
Liar! total supply to neighbouring countris 2,176MW
Reality Eskom just signed a 5 year agreement with Botswana for supply
Facts: A 1998 report warned of imminent disaster,
Goverment reaction? We made a mistake by being ignorant,
Reality they ignored warnings in 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2007. If you bump your head once  learn from it if you do it a second time it is stupidity, for a third you shoould be shot, 4? 5?
Reality: 2006 report from Solidarity (Union) warned on skill shortages
Eskom reaction: Retrenching skilled white employees and replace them with unskilled black labour, in fact they issued a policy at the beginning of 2007 stating that no white males will be employed for the balance of the year.
Eskom solution: Source white males from outside the country to fill skills gap
Reality: Local competent people are left destitute.

Other facts:
Maintenance: normal conditions 1 generator working, 2nd back-up, 3rd on maintenance
Reality no 2 and 3 are incomplete cause their parts have been used to maintain no1
Again competent contractors have been replace by the incompetent gravy train riders and belive it or not they were paid for the supply of the spares used in maintenance of no 1

I am sure the above substantuates my concerns... Are we at the verge of disaster.... Yes we are! One cannot change a culture of self centered,  political driven stupidity and a total lack of even basic common sense overnight...

So we plodder ahead in darkness in light of Eskoms commitment that they are able to supply 70% of the countries demand.... Reality they have not depleted their stockpiles...

NO TRUCKS! NO COAL! NO ENERGY... A GOVERNMENT INCAPABLE OF REACTING AND A COUNTRY ON THE VERGE OF TOTAL COLLAPSE!!!!

South Africa "A country In Trouble And A Few Blindmen Leading The Way"

We have lately been plagued by a new danger / enemy called "Eskom" and have been struck by a disease called "load schedding"...

The essence is as follows:
- A number of idiots have been appointed for political reasons in key position without the knowledge skills or experience as a result of what is seen as affirmative action, we now have a lot of key decisions being made by a bunch of incompetent idiots... with actually only one thing in mind...."personal enrichment". And the reality that a blindman can not see beyond the darkness.

- A government who is even more focussed on themselves, various power struggles, personal enrichment and agendas, and infighting than the issues at hand and blind to the impact of their own stupidity...

The blind leading the blind!

- A shortage of 20% in our electricity supply, couple that with an 6% growth rate and 15% annual increase in demand and no apparent solution... Eskom reckons that they will only be able to deliver against demand by 2013, thus the reality that by 2011 we'll be submerged in darkness... Well at least 50% of the population will be by 2011!  The solution less shackle the economy and halt growth...

- To crown it all Eskom has now asked for a 14% increase in rates, so we'll have to pay more for less

- If one thinks our 1) crime rate is out of control with no plan or solution and the police chief up on criminal charges, 2) we potential have a convicted criminal, corrupt to the core, 4 wives and who believes the solution to HIV Aids being to take a shower after you have raped a woman, Mugabe 2 on our hands 3) a spineless current President, 4) an alcoholic, insane minister of health, who believes the answer to HIV Aids lies in beetroot 5) Core infrastructure providers such as Telkom and Transnet bloody lucky not to be in the same boat as Eskom and may follow soon, 6) corruption at all levels (specifically in local, regional and national government) spiraling out of control, 7) poor quality and inadequate levels of education, 8) various socio-economic problems etc. etc.

Perhaps we have a country on the verge of collapse! Well the core infrastructure of an entire country seems to be on the verge of  total collapse!!!

Am I a profit of doom of just a realist?

Two weeks

What a couple of weeks, first the accident, then trying to sort out the insurance and buy a new car. At least the end is in sight., received my insurance payout today, and sign for the purchase of the new vehicle, buying a Chrysler 300C. Seem to be the best value for money buy at the moment. Well at least I will not be driving with my knees next to my ears... The bakkie is small and being a bit taller and bigger means my knees are in a very uncomfortable position when I am driving, bend more than 90 degrees... and I struggle to get in and out, it is like fitting a whole case of beer into one bottle...

A week of hell

It has been a week since my big accident.. yeah some idiot decided it was best to drive up my ass last Friday!

We've been running aorund trying to sort out everything, from the insurance to medical X-rays... Hopefully though today we should have an answer as to whether my car will be repaired or scrapped... had approximately R104,000 damage (80% of the vehicles value). The past week has been a week of thought and reflection...

1. We were damn lucky, in remaining calm, I had managed to move the car a little bit forward, making the difference between direct side impact, and more a back impact.. I have no doubts that this had saved my daughters life. She is still swollen and blue after a week from the airbag hitting her. However the dent on the boot is 300mm, the length of a standard ruler. Imagine the difference though in impact (car / airbag).

2. I had paid the vehicle up a month ago and was looking forward to absolute financial freedom, if the vehicle is scrapped (which seems the more likely option), I'll be paid out, but with car prices in South Africa as they are I will have to recommit myself.. bye bye to financial freedom.

3. I had to drive my bakkie this week... yeah made a huge upgrade from driving comfort to a) no airbags, b) no power steering c) no aircon d) no ABS brakes or break assist e) no radio g) loads of road noise h) went from a 2.7 liter enjine ti a 1400cc and i) worst of all my knees no sit next to my ears when driving as the bakkie is small and the seating is fixed and immovable.

4. I want to live life to the fullest, not be the coach potato who ends up dying have only seen the TV in front off him. I am having a picnic next week with a friend, who I have not seen in a couple of weeks... I am really looking  forward to that...

5. I once had to deliver a ulogy at a funeral, a really decent and respected person in the community. It was a massive funeral, I looked at the cars, the people filling the church and started by saying: "if I had halve the people at my funeral, I'd be a proud man... because seeing how many life's he had touched made me proud of him". We all live we all die, at the end we only have memories. Those in our hearts and those in the hearts of others...

Another old Poem

Master - ©'99 - by babygirl_Tao
(dedicated to Master Tao)
I am weak when in your presence,
Your power keeps me in my place.
I kneel down in submission to you,
Then you very gently touch my face.

Your mood changes, fear overwhelms me,
I shudder at the tone heard in your voice.
I am at your mercy as I try to escape,
Knowing you will beat me with brutal force.

What could I have done to anger you so?
You should not have asked you say to me.
Pain shoots thru me with your every blow,
It only worsens as I struggle to get free.

The pain now seems sweet, I beg for more,
My screams turn to moans of lust and desire.
I feel the passion between Master and slave,
It is only he who can quench my inner fire.

Sweat pours from our bodies, the passion soars,
Your hellish rage I find was heaven sent.
I gaze into your eyes with complete love,
As our passion explodes, we are finally spent.

An Old poem

Yes Master - ©'99 - by essence
It only takes the sound of your voice
Speaking to me in low whispered
Tones to begin in my body
Sensations which will
Overtake any
Reason

Feelings emerge .. encompass me in the
Throes of passion, wanting only
To please you and be your
Dutiful and willing
And obedient
Slave

Master, bend me to your will for
I am willful and wanton and
Wild and spirited and must
Feel the power of your
Hand taming
Me

Let me feel the passionate love
Of your favor or the passion
Of your discipline as my
Trust builds and my
Body finally
Yields

For it is in these moments of blind
Submission that my juices flow
And my senses explode with
The sheer joy of
Being your
Beloved

Quote - From AlexandraKelly's Journal

The whip explodes like lightning from the hand of a god or goddess, it snakes through the air like a dragon's claw. It is evil, languid, precise, supremely savage, and sensuous. In short, it is as sexy as it is dangerous." (Robert Dante)

Two hard nuts

Had a very tough situation to deal with this morning, two hard nuts banging heads, the whole situation was defused through the stronger and more mature person between the two of us, standing up from his chair and reaching out first, not bending just reaching out... End result was a amicable solution of the situation!

Astrology? truth or myth?

This one is for ctb:

Is there any basis, believe, truth to astrology or is it just a bunch of "old wife's" tales? or perhaps all in the mind?

Private School

Private School
I wonder if growing up with corporal punishment has had any part to play in my kink. I remember my first day in private school. My sadistic fifth grade teacher informed us that she loved to paddle with a passion. She described exactly how it felt to be paddled or how to be hit with a meter stick (not a ruler, a meter stick). She said a naughty child wouldn’t be able to sit down after a beating from her. She told us that she found an unusual enjoyment in it and would be looking for excuses to hit us. She told us that our parents couldn’t save us from her. The current rule on spankings was that the teacher had to request permission from the child’s parent or guardian, but Ms. A told us with malicious voyeuristic glee that she enjoyed watching kids being hit almost as much as doing it herself. If our parent/guardian wouldn’t give her the go-ahead then she’d have them come in and spank us in front of her, and perhaps in front of the classroom. Luckily she had a strong preference for spanking the boys. She’d hit them for no reason in public without contacting the parents. The class clown was a lanky blonde named Steven, and while we were doing some sort of group project she noticed Steven was goofing off so she bent him over the table and hit him with her meter stick. He was more humiliated than hurt. There was something about the whole scene that I found exciting and visually pleasurable.

As I grew older and moved through puberty corporal punishment became even more twisted. In middle school they handled it by having designated disciplinarians—a designated female teacher for the girls and a designated male teacher for the boys. That was the policy anyway. Mr. P was a muscle bound sinewy jock with hairy armpits. He taught Bible and P.E. He was the male disciplinarian, but he had a horrible temper and once he belted two girls in P.E. The girls were 8th graders—14 or 15, popular pretty girls who were used to getting their way, much in need of a little humiliation. They would forget their P.E. clothes and sit off to the side and giggle. Mr. P once in an impulsive rage leaned them both over the bench and flipped up their skirts and paddled their bottoms in front of the whole gym. I only heard of this and I didn’t see it myself. Rumors spread—he pulled down their panties, he used his belt, he used his hand, he made them cry, their parents were mad and pulling them out of school. The whole thing had me very excited.

There was something sensuous and demeaning about having to wear a skirt and then having to kneel publicly to see if the hem of the skirt touched the floor. It made it all the more delicious to know that if it didn’t you’d be paddled. I remember kneeling for Mr. P in front of the class, the fear and adrenaline rushing through me. Just the command itself thrilled me—“kneel.” There was more humiliation in being the only kneeling girl, but something playful in kneeling as a group. The female half of the class would stand and kneel in unison so that the hem of all our skirts could be inspected. The small handful of boys must have jerked to that when they went home. How could they not? I did.
